The opening of the Future Mix exhibition at South Camden Community School was featured in the Hampstead and Highgate Gazette last week.

In the first workshop the students discussed and devised an advert after a presentation which discussed cloning, dolly the sheep and the possibility of preserving species in a “frozen ark”

Activity: To get into small groups and imagine rescuing from extinction an animal from the �??Frozen Ark project�?� of extinct animals, such mammoth or dinosaurs: which animal would you save, and why? What would its life be like? Would it adapt easily to live in our environment? Would you adopt it as a pet? Design an advert which will state your case for the animal you want to save, highlighting its positive contributions to the world.
